8-Day Adventure in the Caucasus Powder Playground
This flexible ski touring programme is based in Gudauri, Georgia’s premier ski resort, famous for its high alpine terrain, freeride access, and consistently reliable snow. The itinerary combines lift-assisted descents, technical safety training, and rewarding backcountry tours to iconic peaks such as Mount Deda Ena and Lomisa Ridge. Participants will experience the thrill of untouched snow, panoramic mountain vistas, and carefully guided off-piste routes tailored to intermediate and advanced skiers.
The programme also offers the option to conclude with a cultural day in Tbilisi, allowing guests to unwind and explore Georgia’s vibrant capital after their alpine adventure. Every detail, from local transfers to expert guidance, is arranged to ensure a seamless and memorable experience in the heart of the Caucasus.

8-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival
Travel to Tbilisi. We’re happy to assist with flight bookings.
Day 2 – Transfer & Warm-Up
Meet your guide.
Private transfer to Gudauri (approx. 3 hrs).
Hotel check-in and gear check.
Afternoon: Introductory skiing to get familiar with the area.
Overnight in Gudauri.
Day 3 – Safety & First Tour
Morning ski lift ascent.
Avalanche safety briefing.
Short ski tour near the resort.
Overnight in Gudauri.
Day 4 – Freeride Lines
Full day of freeride skiing, using lifts and short approaches.
Possible descents from Jvari Pass with vehicle pickup.
Overnight in Gudauri.
Day 5 – Lomisa Ridge Tour
Transfer to Mleta (1450 m).
Ski tour to Lomisa Monastery (2200 m) and ridge (2450 m).
Elevation gain/loss: ↑↓ ~1150 m.
Overnight in Gudauri.
Day 6 – Mount Deda Ena
Transfer to Jvari Pass (2360 m).
Ski tour to Mount Deda Ena (3285 m).
Elevation gain/loss: ↑↓ ~925 m.
Overnight in Gudauri.
Day 7 – Open Options
Choose between:
– Resort freeride,
– One-day ski tour,
– Or transfer to Tbilisi for a hotel night & short city tour.
Evening: Airport transfer depending on flight time.
Overnight in Gudauri or Tbilisi.
Day 8 – Departure
Transfer to Tbilisi International Airport.
