15-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi
Arrival at Tbilisi Airport. Transfer to the hotel and overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 2: Tbilisi City Tour
Explore the Old Town: Metekhi Church, Sioni Cathedral, Anchiskhati Basilica, Narikala Fortress, and the sulphur baths. Leisure time in the evening.

Day 3: Mtskheta – Uplistsikhe – Gori – Kutaisi
Visit the UNESCO site of Mtskheta (Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari Monastery). Continue to Uplistsikhe rock town and Stalin Museum in Gori. Drive to Kutaisi.
Overnight: Guesthouse in Kutaisi
Day 4: Kutaisi – Gelati – Prometheus Cave – Zugdidi
Tour the Gelati Monastery (UNESCO), Bagrati Cathedral, and Prometheus Cave. Drive to Zugdidi in Samegrelo.

Day 5: Zugdidi – Mestia
Visit the Dadiani Palace. Drive into the high Caucasus to Mestia in Svaneti.

Day 6: Ushguli Excursion
Day trip to Ushguli, Europe’s highest permanently inhabited village (UNESCO). Explore Lamaria Church and local Svan towers. Return to Mestia.

Day 7: Mestia – Enguri Dam – Kutaisi
Visit the ethnographic museum in Mestia. Return via Enguri Dam to Kutaisi.

Day 8: Vardzia Cave City
Drive south to the Vardzia cave monastery (12th c.). Explore the cliff-side chambers and frescoes.

Day 9: Rabati Fortress – Borjomi
Visit Rabati Fortress in Akhaltsikhe. Continue to Borjomi for a walk in the park and mineral springs.
Overnight: Hotel in Borjomi
Day 10: Gori – Ateni – Tbilisi
Drive to Gori and visit the Ateni Sioni Church. Return to Tbilisi.

Day 11: Kakheti – Telavi
Drive to the wine region Kakheti. Visit Alaverdi Cathedral and local winery.
Overnight: Guesthouse in Telavi
Day 12: Tsinandali – Sighnaghi
Visit the Tsinandali estate and wine cellar. Continue to the hilltop town of Sighnaghi.

Day 13: Bodbe – David Gareja – Tbilisi
Explore the Bodbe Monastery and drive to the David Gareja cave monastery complex in the semi-desert. Return to Tbilisi.
