the cradle of WINE
In the Ancient Land of the Caucasus
Few countries in the world have such a deep connection to wine as Georgia. As one of the oldest wine regions, Georgia’s identity is inextricably linked to its winemaking heritage. There are hundreds of indigenous grape varieties, and the ancient method of aging wine in clay amphorae, known as kvervis, has been preserved here like nowhere else in the world. Although Georgia is smaller than Switzerland, it boasts an incredibly diverse landscape that encompasses almost all vegetation zones. This diversity is reflected in the wide range of grape varieties and wines produced from ancient. Our exclusive wine tour is led by Paulin Köpfer, one of the pioneers of organic viticulture in Germany and a recognised expert on Georgian wines. This tour is primarily designed for professionals and wine lovers and offers a comprehensive exploration of Georgia’s wine-growing heritage. Over the course of eight days, you will experience: ✅ The entire spectrum of wine-growing: from small family wineries to large international producers. ✅ Visits to historical and cultural attractions, including UNESCO World Heritage Sites. ✅ Exciting lectures and discussions on traditional and modern winemaking techniques. ✅ Authentic Georgian cuisine, perfectly paired with exquisite local wines.
